Des châteaux en l’air, collectif fondé en 2012 à Strasbourg par Ramona Poenaru et Gaël Chaillat autour de la pensée et l'expérience du philosophe américain Henry David Thoreau, change de nom en 2026 sous la direction de Ramona Poenaru, artiste multimédia et performer - et s’intitule dorénavant Corps Public.

Le collectif s'attache à créer des situations, des formes artistiques hybrides nées de la rencontre d'un contexte et d'un public : performances, spectacles, installations plastiques, vidéo et sonores, protocoles d'interaction, dispositifs participatifs - notamment dans l'espace public.

Trois grands projets poursuivent leur chemin, chacun avec son vocabulaire esthétique et ses problématiques : Cabanes, Corps public et Tendre linge.

Les créations réunies sous le titre global Cabanes induisent le dialogue par la participation du public à des constructions collectives en carton (bâtir, modifier, moduler, coopérer).

Titre homonyme, Corps public interroge les frontières entre espace privé / espace scénique / espace public en créant des œuvres où l’interaction se fait par des mises en situation entre les corps des performeurs et les spectateurs.

Tendre linge propose une occupation de l’espace public par l’intime, un usage poétique et politique de la ville. Des matériaux spécifiques - cordes et tissus - investissent jardins, parcs, terre-pleins, trottoir, rue. Ils invoquent le droit à la ville et au paysage pour les humains qui les animent.

Des châteaux en l’air (Castles in the Air), a collective founded in 2012 in Strasbourg by Ramona Poenaru & Gaël Chaillat around the thought and experience of the American philosopher Henry David Thoreau, changed its name in 2026 under the direction of Ramona Poenaru, multimedia artist and performer – and is now known as Corps Public (Public Body).

The collective focuses on creating situations, hybrid art forms that arise from the encounter of a specific context and audience: performances, shows, visual, video and sound installations, interactive protocols and participatory projects – particularly in public spaces.

Three major projects are currently underway, each with its own aesthetic vocabulary and set of issues: Cabanes Cabins), Corps Public (Public Body) and Tendre linge (Tender Linen)

The works brought together under the umbrella title Cabanes (Cabins) foster dialogue through the public’s participation in collective cardboard constructions (building, modifying, adapting, cooperating).

Sharing the same title, Corps public (Public Body) explores the boundaries between private space, stage space and public space by creating works in which interaction occurs through staged situations involving the bodies of the performers and the audience.

Tendre linge (Tender Linen) proposes an occupation of public space through the intimate, a poetic and political use of the city. Specific materials – ropes and fabrics – take over gardens, parks, traffic islands, pavements and streets. They invoke the right to the city and to the landscape for the people who bring them to life.
